WWE is bringing Money In The Bank to The O2 arena in London as the iconic event lands in the UK for the first time ever.
It follows September’s hugely successful Clash At The Castle show in Cardiff, Wales, which was the company’s first major stadium show in the UK since SummerSlam 1992, and smashed records including becoming the most watched international premium live event in history.
Now, the company is returning with its first PLE in London in over two decades, and it will see the legendary Money In The Bank ladder matches come to these shores for the first time ever.
The two signature bouts – one for the women and one for the men – sees top stars battle to climb the ladder and unhook the coveted briefcase which contains a contract for a championship match at a time and place of their choosing anytime within the next year.
In a statement, Dan Ventrelle, EVP, Talent at WWE, said: ‘The O2 is one of the world’s premier venues and the perfect home for Money In The Bank. We are excited to bring one of our “Big 5” events to the UK and look forward to welcoming the WWE Universe to London on July 1.’
And Christian D’Acuña, Senior Programming Director at The O2, added: ‘We are honoured to be hosting the first ever Money In The Bank event taking place in the UK here at The O2.
‘We’re looking forward to welcoming back WWE fans to The O2 this summer for an unforgettable night with some of WWE’s biggest Superstars.’
WWE has promised more information on the event ‘will be announced in the coming weeks’, while the next few months of Raw, SmackDown – plus upcoming events like WrestleMania 39 in April – will shape the lineup for the event.
The company, and fans, will have high hopes for this and the upcoming UK and Ireland WWE Live tour in April, particularly after the success of Clash At The Castle, which had the largest European gate in WWE history, as well as the best-selling merchandise for a non-WrestleMania event.
Official WWE Money In The Bank Priority Passes, which are available now through exclusive partner On Location here or by calling 1-855-346-7388, will give fans the opportunity to purchase ticket packages before they go on sale to the general public.
The Money In The Bank Priority Pass offers fans the chance to be ringside, including premium seating, all-inclusive pre-show hospitality with WWE superstar appearances, plus ringside photo opportunities, an autographed poster, merchandise fastlane, exclusive merchandise, two nights of deluxe accommodations, and much more.

WWE Raw (Mondays) and SmackDown (Fridays) airs weekly at 1am on BT Sport 1.
