The heatwave may have ended, but the sunshine is still going strong.

And you know what that means… It’s time to sit outside with a Spritz (not that we needed an excuse).

If Aperol is your Spritz of choice, then there’s a new spot in London you might want to head to.

Simmons has several bars across the city, but its Soho location has launched something very special… a Spritz window, serving up three different kinds of spritz.

The best part? The drinks are really cheap.

Simmons has officially opened the Spritz Stop, where you can get an Aperol Spritz for the price of just £5.

The popular drink combines Aperol, Prosecco, and soda to create a vibrant, bittersweet cocktail with fizz.

And a fiver is a real steal, considering many spots across the capital charge between £9 and £13 for the same cocktail.

The only catch is that to get your hands on the bargain beverage, you’ll need to visit the Spritz Stop at a specific time.

It’s open every day, with drinks for £5 between 3pm and 8pm.

If you aren’t an Aperol fan, don’t panic, as the window is also serving up a Sarti Spritz.

Hailed as Aperol’s ‘pink, sweet sister’, Sarti Rosa is packed with fruity flavours of mango, passionfruit, and blood orange, combined with Prosecco and soda.

The final drink available at the Spritz Stop is, of course, the Hugo Spritz, which some have proclaimed the drink of summer 2026.

This sweet drink combines elderflower liqueur, Prosecco, soda, and mint for a crisp, yet refreshing sip.

Both of these also cost just £5 between 3pm and 8pm.

In addition to drinks, Simmons has DJs playing throwback classics and party anthems at the Spritz Stop from Thursday to Sunday.

Online people have been going wild over the window, hailing it as ‘perfect’, ‘stunning’, and a ‘bargain’.

‘I need this in my life,’ said @undertheinfluence.bham on Instagram

Similarly, @mrsblum91 commented: ‘It’s calling my name!’

And @victorialilley wrote: ‘I’ll take the pink one, please.’

While @stacey_gray87 added: ‘Bargain. Will need to take a deck chair.’

You can find the Spritz Stop at 2 Bateman St, London W1D 4AE.

If you’re looking for somewhere else to enjoy a drink or two al fresco, Metro recently revealed its favourite terrace in London.

The stunning riverside spot is tucked away in Richmond, at Scott’s, a restaurant known for its seafood.

While it’s not quite on the roof of the restaurant, you’re at the ideal height to sit back and enjoy incredible, uninterrupted views of the water and the wide, open sky above.

For 2026, Scott’s Richmond has partnered with Silent Pool Gin to turn the terrace into a botanical garden.

The ceilings and windows are covered in realistic-looking wisteria, cascading leafy green vines, and lots of lemons, which add fantastic pops of colour and almost make you feel like you’ve been swept off to Italy.

There’s a limited-edition Spring drinks menu, featuring several cocktails crafted with Silent Pool Gin, with prices starting from £13.

A real highlight is the Silent Bloom Spritz (£15), which combines Silent Pool Gin, Silent Pool Rose Expression, tawny port, lemon juice, orange bitters, and Fever-Tree orange and raspberry soda. It’s an elegant, fruity, and slightly bitter drink that tastes like summer in a glass.
