Two women have been arrested after a man was apparently stabbed at a London Underground station.

Emergency services were called to Seven Sisters underground station this morning after a man was seriously injured.

He remains in a life threatening condition.

Two women have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

One has also been arrested on suspicion of common assault.

British Transport Police said: ‘Two females have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. One has also been further arrested on suspicion of common assault.

‘They remain in police custody and enquiries are ongoing.’

The station has now re-opened to the public.
