A woman is seen driving over another woman outside a Mayfair nightclub.

One victim is fighting for her life after a black car allegedly mounted the curb and injured pedestrians in busy Argyll Street in central London at around 4.30am this morning.

In footage, a car lurches forward, running over another woman walking in front of it.

One man shouts out ‘She’s running her over’ as a warning.

But the victim disappears under the bonnet and is left unconscious in the street as people fight to get the driver from behind the wheel.

A cyclist, who is facing the other way as he tries to unlock a rental bike, is also struck and left in a crumpled heap on the floor.

Met Police said woman in her 30s was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition, another man in his 50s sustained ‘life-changing’ injuries.

A third woman, aged in her 30s, was treated for minor injuries.

Metro has asked for an update on the victim’s condition.

The Met Police said it arrested a 29-year-old woman driver on suspicion of attempted murder, GBH, dangerous driving and drink driving.

She remains in police custody.

The Met said the collision is not considered to be terror-related.

DCI Alison Foxwell, of Specialist Crime South, said: ‘As our enquiries continue, our thoughts are with those injured and their loved ones.

‘While this incident took place in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open, and we believe a number of people will have seen what happened.

‘I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision, or any activity prior to it that they feel may be of relevance, to come forward.

‘The information you have – however minor you believe it may be – could be of crucial importance to investigators.’
