You go to Five Guys for a reliably delicious burger and their special Heinz mayo.
You don’t expect to head in for lunch and get some of the most spectacular views in London.
The Five Guys branch at Tower Bridge is being lauded by customers for its ‘amazing city vistas’.
Located at 2 More London, Riverside, right on the South Bank, the restaurant is positioned so that diners sitting on the top floor can enjoy their fries while marvelling at Tower Bridge.
You also get a great view of 110 The Queen’s Walk, formerly City Hall, and Canary Wharf in the distance, including One Canada Square.
Across the river, you can also spot the Tower of London.
What’s so special about the Five Guys at Tower Bridge?
Five Guys spoke with Metro about the popular spot, who told us that eating at the Tower Bridge location is ‘more than just a meal; it’s an experience’.
Sharing that this was one of their ‘most popular’ restaurants (especially during the lunch rush), a spokesperson said: ‘At London Bridge, that classic Five Guys experience gets an extra layer of magic.
‘Whether you’re a local grabbing a quick, delicious lunch, a tourist soaking in the sights, or friends meeting up for a memorable evening, it’s the perfect location for an unforgettable burger experience.’
And where is the best seat in the house for the best view? ‘The three tables on the upper floor in the middle of the window,’ the spokesperson revealed.
When asked whether they’ve leaned into the views by offering any unique or themed menu items (a Tower Bridge Burger, perhaps?) the spokesperson said that actually, the menu here includes the same favourites you’ll find at every other branch.
What do customers say about the Five Guys at Tower Bridge?
On TripAdvisor, almost all of the reviews for the Tower Bridge branch mention the restaurant’s incredible views.
One tourist, Filipe Pereira, who was visiting from Portugal, stopped by the location in February 2025.
She shared: ‘When we arrived in London by train, we immediately went for lunch at one of the most spectacular Five Guys you can find.
‘If you go to the upper floor, you can have lunch or dinner with Tower Bridge right in front of you. Fantastic!’
Another user, Markus, wrote: ‘Good and inexpensive food with magnificent views of Tower Bridge’.
‘You can take great photos for Instagram’, bir_cift_gezgin added.
Interestingly enough, even the patrons who weren’t as impressed with the food on offer, still took the time to point out the impressive location.
For example, Julian d, who visited in 2024, wrote: ‘The burgers were dry, the fries were way too salty and covered the whole bag, and the milkshake was far too expensive for the quality… The view was nice, though’.
In general though, the Tower Bridge location still sits in good favour with customers.
In fact one TikToker visiting from the US called it ‘the best way to spend $15 in London’, adding ‘getting a delicious meal with those epic London views doesn’t have to break the bank. Whether it’s a quick lunch with a view… or you’re looking for a cute date night spot… this one is hard to beat’.
Unique fast food restaurants around the world
- The world’s only ski-thru McDonald’s is in the popular resort of Lindvallen, around 200 miles northwest of Stockholm. Offering all your favourite McDonald’s goodies directly on the slopes, the McCafe here also serves up hot chocolate and warm cinnamon buns to help skiers defrost.
- Why not take a trip to the world’s most elegant McDonald’s, that customers say looks like ‘a 5-star hotel’. You can find it in the Nyugati Railway Station restaurant in Budapest, Hungary. One of the coolest elements of this branch is its unique food conveyer belt…
- When KFC first launched its spin-off chain Saucy!, customers were unsure if it would get off the ground. But over a year later the neon pink franchise, which specialises in crispy chicken tenders with a variety of bold sauces, is thriving.
