Former Doctor Who star Noel Clarke has reportedly been arrested over allegations of an historic attempted rape and sexual assault against a woman in her 20s.
It’s understood Clarke, 50, was interviewed at Islington police station in north London this afternoon, according to The Daily Mail.
He has been accused of attempted rape, exposure and sexual assault by touching from an historic incident which occurred in the capital in 2007, all relating to the same woman, according to the publication.
Clarke is also said to have been questioned over alleged voyeurism in relation to a separate woman, also in her 20s, which is said to have taken place in 2013.
He was previously arrested over this later alleged offence at his Kensington home in September.

After losing a libel case against the Guardian newspaper reporting allegations about his behaviour – which saw him declare bankruptcy over a £3million legal bill – the actor was arrested on suspicion of voyeurism, with a Metropolitan Police investigation opened.
Following his being detained today by detectives from the Met’s Central Specialist Crime Command over the further alleged offences, he has since been released on bail.
An investigation into the claims is now ongoing.
According to The Sun, Clarke arrived at Islington police station by appointment at about 12:45pm today, accompanied by his wife and solicitor.
He was held for around two hours before being released on bail pending further inquiries.
The publication reports it’s understood that Met officers had been carrying out an assessment of evidence which emerged during Clarke’s civil case against The Guardian.
He has always denied claims against him, which also resulted in his outstanding British contribution to cinema honour from Bafta – and his membership – being suspended in April 2021.
He had previously received the arts organisation’s prestigious Rising Star award in 2009.
A Met spokesperson told Metro: ‘A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of attempted rape, exposure and sexual assault by touching on Tuesday, 10 February. He was interviewed by detectives.
‘This arrest relates to a sexual offence, which is alleged to have taken place in 2007 in London against a woman in her 20s.
‘The man was also interviewed in relation to a voyeurism allegation, for which he was previously arrested in September 2025. This relates to an offence allegedly committed in 2013 at an address in London against a woman in her 20s.
‘The man was bailed pending further enquiries and the Met’s investigation continues.’
Clarke became a household name thanks to his role as Mickey Smith on Doctor Who opposite David Tennant and Billie Piper from 2005 to 2006, before returning in 2008 and again in 2010.
He also wrote and starred in the British independent film Kidulthood, which spawned sequels Adulthood and Brotherhood, which he also directed.
