CCTV has been released of a moped rider and a passenger after a woman was killed following a hit-and-run.

Ina Rodrigues, 58, crossed the road on Talgarth Road, Hammersmith, west London, when she was hit by the scooter shortly after 6pm on January 16.

She died in hospital five days later.

The rider and passenger left the scene then dumped the moped nearby.

The CCTV shows the two people who they want to speak with in relation to the crash.

They throw a cover over a scooter before walking away in their helmets at 6.09pm.

DC Matt Jackson from the Met Police said they had traced the moped and added: ‘We now need the public’s help to try and identify the two people who were on it at the time of the collision.

‘Ina’s family has been devastated as a result of this collision and we need to provide them with answers as to what happened to their loved one.

‘If you can help, please get in contact immediately.’

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information should call police on 101.
