Alaska Airlines unveils first twin-aisle plane
  • Alaska Airlines has unveiled its first lie-flat business-class cabin, marking a significant upgrade from its previous recliner seats.
  • The new cabins will feature on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner routes connecting Seattle to Rome, London, and Incheon.
  • Each suite offers privacy doors, direct aisle access, 18-inch HD entertainment screens, wireless charging, and noise-reducing headsets.
  • On the dining front, Alaska promises “restaurant quality food,” a “multi-course culinary journey that celebrates the flavors of the West Coast and the global destinations Alaska serves.” Passengers will receive premium bedding and amenity kits, alongside a ‘restaurant-quality food’ experience with multi-course meals and a dessert cart.
  • New nonstop services commence with Seattle to Rome on 28 April, London on 21 May, and Incheon later in the year.
