Two women have been found dead in a park in northwest London, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The women were discovered in Fryent Country Park on Slough Lane in Wembley this afternoon.
Police were called shortly after 1pm on Sunday to reports that two women were unresponsive in the park.
Posts on social media suggest that entrances to the park were being blocked by police forensics teams.
Emergency services which attended the scene pronounced the women dead.
Homicide detectives have been informed about the deaths, although the cause has not yet been established.
The Metropolitan Police said its inquiries into the circumstances on the women’s deaths continue.
No arrests have been made and the next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course, the police said.
