Researchers analysed social media data to reveal TikTok’s favourite Christmas city, from the UK, US, Canadian and European cities this winter. The cities with the most desirable hashtags on TikTok, including #WinterInNewYork and #LondonChristmasMarkets, made the top ten.
And which city came out on top? Our very own London, of course.

First you have the stunning Christmas lights and displays around the West End, particularly in Oxford Circus. We’ve all seen the videos of people posing under the lights, and we can’t blame them.
Winter Wonderland isn’t too far away in Hyde Park, and there are lots of quaint and unique Christmas markets dotted around the city, including Borough Market and Covent Garden. The hashtag #LondonChristmasMarket has 10.9 million mentions on TikTok alone.
But it wasn’t just London that was recognised for all it’s festive fun.
