Whatever the weather might actually be saying today, there’s 100% chance of seeing a rainbow if you’re in or around London – it’s Pride in the capital!
With around 1.5 million revellers expected to flock to the city to celebrate the UK’s biggest Pride event – where the likes of RuPaul’s Drag Race dancer Todrick Hall and Frozen’s Idina Menzel are performing at Trafalgar Square – it’s inevitable that there’ll be some disruption on the roads.
Whether you’re planning on catching a taxi in or you’re driving around London for work (or pleasure) today, which roads are closed? And are there any tube disruptions?

Are tubes and buses still running?
Fear not, there are no planned strikes on the London Underground or across the Transport for London (TfL) buses networks today.
However, where some routes would usually need access to any closed roads, expect diversions – and busier crowds!
Where’s the nearest tube station to the parade?
The good news is the Pride Parade route covers a long stretch, so you don’t have to worry too much about being right at the start.
Some prime viewing spots include Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Haymarket, and Whitehall.
The closest Tube station to Trafalgar Square – where the parade starts – is Charing Cross.
Charing Cross is on the Bakerloo or Northern lines.
