Police in south London have found a six-year-old boy who went missing this afternoon.
The non-verbal schoolboy, called Ishmael, had been seen going into the Brixton underground station just before 1pm.
He was later spotted at Oval underground station, police said.
London Fire Brigade and Transport for London are assisting officers in the search.
Lambeth Police said on Twitter: ‘Help us find #Missing Ishmael. He is six years old and non-verbal.
‘Our search is ongoing. CCTV last shows him entering the underground at Brixton at 12:48.
‘If you see him please ring 999 or approach an officer immediately, quoting CAD 3319/07MAY23.’
Just after 7pm, the account tweeted: ‘Ishmael has been found. Thank you for your help.’
