Met Police scales back front counter closures after public outcry

Two of the busiest counters, located at Charing Cross and Lewisham, will remain open 24 hours a day, while the remaining 25 counters will operate Monday to Friday, 10am to 10pm, and 9am to 7pm on weekends, with locations spread across the capital.
