The body of a man in his 30s has been found in suspicious circumstances in a London park, police say.
Officers were called to St James Park, in Walthamstow, just before 2pm on Monday after a member of the public filed a report.
They found the man unresponsive, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated as suspicious, a Met Police spokesperson said. No arrests have been made.
The man’s next of kin have been informed of his death, although formal identification is yet to take place.
It has not yet been established how the man died, but a post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
