A young man has died after being knifed to death in a brutal attack in south London.
Emergency services were called after a fight broke out in Brixton at around 6pm on Thursday night.
A man, believed to be in his 20s, was found there suffering with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital and his condition is not considered life-threatening.
Shortly after, police were called to a road nearby and found another man, also thought to be in his 20s, found with knife injuries. He was rushed to hospital but died at around 8.50pm.
An overturned car found in a road nearby is also being linked to the incident by police.
Met Police has since launched a murder investigation and enquiries are underway to find and inform his next of kin. No arrests have yet been made.
This morning, another man died from stab wounds in a south east London street.
He was found ‘seriously injured’ by police in Belvedere just before 6.20am.
The man was treated by air ambulance paramedics but died at the scene around 40 minutes later.
Police said they are keeping an open mind as to what happened and have not launched a murder investigation.
