A man has died after being stabbed near a train station in South London.
The man, believed to be 20 years old, collapsed inside a shop on Norwood Road in Lambeth following the incident yesterday evening.
Emergency services, including the police and an air ambulance, were called to the scene near Tulse Hill station just before 6pm.
However, despite the efforts of parademics, the man died not long afterwards.
He has not yet been formally identified, but officers said they ‘believe they know’ who he is and have been working to inform his next of kin.
A crime scene had been set up in the area last night, and no arrests have yet been made.
Police also said a Section 60 Order was authorised for the entire borough of Lambeth last night.
The order, which gives officers extra ‘stop and search’ powers’, was in force between 7pm yesterday and 7am today.
Anyone with information, video or images that could help police with their investigation has been urged to call 101, using the reference CAD 5605/April 15.
