Alexandra Cane was left ‘shaken’ after she was mugged by a cyclist while she was walking down the street on Sunday.
The Love Island star revealed her phone was stolen by a man on a bicycle in Shoreditch, London.
The 29-year-old urged her fans to stay safe while walking around in east London as there has reportedly been a rise in crime in the area.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories: ‘Just got mugged in Shoreditch by a guy on a bicycle whilst walking down the street. I’m okay.’
The fitness enthusiast added later: ‘UPDATE: Thank you for all your messages of support. My phone got stolen out of my hand whilst walking earlier.
‘I’m currently using a different device to post this (that doesn’t have a SIM card/number) so not able to make calls etc. Was a little shaken earlier but had some time to reflect on the situation…’
The reality star said she wishes the robber ‘love and light’ and hopes he’ll be able to profit financially from her phone.
‘I pray that the guy who stole my phone is able to make some money from my handset (if that was his intention), as clearly he is struggling to have to go to such measures. I wish him nothing but love and light,’ she wrote.
‘I’m going to enjoy being a little further disconnected for the rest of the today. Tomorrow is one of the biggest days of my life, so I’m going to go for a walk and reflect on my journey and how it’s got me here.
‘I will count my blessings. I will seek the good in this situation. Time to switch off & replenish my energy cause lord knows I need it! I hope you’re ready for what’s coming…’
The fitness enthusiast – who previously revealed she went sober after being hospitalised from alcohol poisoning – concluded her post by telling fans to stay ‘mindful’ while out and about.
‘PS. I know it’s easy for me to say “be careful when walking in East London/Shoreditch that it doesn’t happen to you…”‘ she penned.
‘But a few weeks ago it happened to a girl I know, she posted about it, however, I didn’t process it properly as I didn’t think it would happen to me… but it did.
‘Please be cautious guys, I’m so thankful it wasn’t my whole handbag/wallet etc and that a weapon wasn’t involved. Apparently this is happening a lot around this area so PLEASE BE MINDFUL!!!’
