Central line part suspended
No service between Woodford and Hainault via Grange Hill and minor delays between Leytonstone and Hainault via Newbury Park while TfL fix a faulty train at Hainault.
There is a good service on the rest of the line.
Southern advice to customers
Trains cannot run north of Shepherds Bush, so Southern will not be running services northbound or southbound at Watford Junction, Harrow & Wealdstone, or Wembley Central.
Passengers are advised to use alternative routes if there is a long wait for a direct train. Southern tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on:
- London Underground across Central, North, and West London via any reasonable route
- London Northwestern Railway between Watford Junction, Harrow & Wealdstone, and London Euston (though some services are also affected)
- London Overground: Lioness Line: Watford Junction – Harrow & Wealdstone – Wembley Central – Willesden Junction – Euston Mildmay Line: Willesden Junction – Shepherds Bush, connecting with Southern services
Alternative journeys may take 30–45 minutes longer, so allow extra time and check journey planners before travelling.
Trains between Tring and London Euston have been cancelled
Passengers can use their tickets at no extra cost on alternative services:
- Avanti West Coast trains between Crewe and London Euston, and between Liverpool Lime Street and Birmingham New Street (note that Avanti services are also affected by the disruption).
- London Buses between Watford Junction and London Euston.

Bakerloo line resumes good service
The Bakerloo line is now providing a good service.
Euston disruption expected until 12pm
A signalling fault at the Watford Junction area is set to cause disruption to London Northwestern Railway and Avanti West Coast services to and from Euston station until 12pm.
Taplow rail station part closed
Taplow station is part-closed this morning due to planned Elizabeth line engineering work.
Westbound trains are not stopping at Taplow.
Amended late night / early morning Great Western Railway trains to / from London Paddington
Several services from London Paddington are being diverted, shortened, or replaced with road transport:
- Some trains will terminate at Moreton-in-Marsh, with replacement buses to stations including Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore, Worcestershire Parkway, and Worcester Shrub Hill.
- Other services will divert via Swindon and Cheltenham Spa, skipping certain stops.
- Passengers to Colwall, Ledbury, and Hereford are advised to use earlier or alternative trains.
Trains to London Paddington from Worcester and Hereford are also affected, with some terminating at Worcester Shrub Hill and onward travel provided by bus.
Passengers are advised to check before travelling and allow extra time for their journeys.

Traffic is slow in the Battersea area this morning
Northbound traffic on Battersea Bridge is congested, with tailbacks stretching to Battersea Park Road, while southbound queues reach Kings Road.
Traffic is also moving slowly eastbound on Westbridge Road and Battersea Church Road, approaching Battersea Bridge Road. Drivers should expect delays on diversion routes.
Disruption between Stansted Airport and Stansted Mountfitchet expected until 10:15am
A points failure between Stansted Airport and Stansted Mountfitchet is causing disruption to rail services towards London Liverpool Street.
Some lines are currently blocked, meaning trains to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes, or diverted.
Disruption is expected to continue until around 10:15am.
