ady Gaga urged Joe Biden’s supporters to “vote like your life depends on it” at the presidential candidate’s finally rally before the election.
“Like me, you’ve experienced the last four years, and have all the evidence you need to look at this choice, and know in your heart, without any doubt, that Joe Biden is the right choice,” Gaga told the crowds.
She added: “Vote like your life depends on, or vote like your children’s lives depend on it, because they do.
“And to all the women, and all the men with daughters, and sisters, and mothers, everybody, no matter how you identify, now is your chance to vote against Donald Trump, a man who believes his fame gives him the right to grab one of your daughters, or sisters, or mothers or wives by any part of their bodies. Vote for Joe. He’s a good person.”
Gaga performed her rendition of Shallow from the movie A Star is Born and her hit You and I which included a shout-out to her “Pennsylvania guy” – Mr Biden.
Mr Trump hit back at Gaga at his own rally, telling his supporters: “I could tell you stories about Lady Gaga. I know a lot of stories.” The president took aim at Gaga for her stance back in 2012 when she spoke out against fracking.
Before Gaga took to the stage, John Legend performed with the “Godmother of soul” Patti LaBelle. Legend also sang his hit song Glory with the rapper Common.
