The son of a wealthy Chelsea art collector and a property developer has been arrested on charges of attempted murder of his family’s live-in maid.

Maximillian Bourne, 25, works as an IT consultant and told Westminster Magistrates Court that he was a ‘good-looking white boy from Chelsea’, according to The Times.

He’s accused of stabbing Joselia Pereira Do Nascimento on February 25 in his family’s £20 million pad in Chelsea.

Bourne has been remanded in custody until March 26, when he will appear at the Old Bailey.

In the dock this week, he told the court: ‘I’m a nice, very good-looking white boy from Chelsea.’

Ms Nascimento will spend a week in hospital recovering from her stab wounds, which were initially classified as critical, according to prosecutor Kalsoom Shah.

Bourne is the son of Graham Bourne, a prominent property developer, and Sylvia Pessoa Bourne, a philanthropist and art collector.

The couple are now divorced.
