A four-year-old girl has been found dead next to a badly injured woman at a flat in south London.
The girl’s body was found yesterday at 4pm when paramedics were called to Monarch Parade in Mitcham.
She was pronounced dead soon after arriving at hospital and the woman, 35, is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Police have said that no arrests have been made yet but added that they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
An air ambulance was called to the scene and a cordon was put in place while investigations take place.
