Flasher exposed himself to elderly women through their letterboxes

A man exposed himself to elderly women through their letterboxes during a one-night crime spree.

The ‘distressing’ spate of incidents happened in Dagenham, east London, during the late evening on January 3.

The first occurred when he flashed an elderly woman at her home in north Dagenham at around 10.15pm.

He then did the same to another in Mayesbrook Road at 11.05pm.

Police officers at Scotland Yard believe he targeted other elderly women in Dagenham during the same evening.

He also looked through windows, knocked on doors and acted suspiciously in Lilliechurch Road.

The man was wearing dark clothing, a black crash helmet, and was riding a dark coloured motorbike or moped.

Detective Constable Sky Mulvey, said: ‘These incidents were very distressing for the victims and we are determined to swiftly bring the person responsible to justice.

‘We are extremely keen to get any information, CCTV or door cam/doorbell footage in connection with the incidents. If you know who this man is, please contact us, or Crimestoppers anonymously, as a matter of urgency.’
