Ed Gamble, Sam Ryder and Sue Perkins are among a long list of famous names to be added to the Just for Laughs first-ever festival, and it’s shaping to be quite the raucous event.
The four-day event is taking place in London’s O2 arena across March 2-5 this year and boasts a stellar line-up full of the nation’s funniest faces including Graham Norton and Katherine Ryan.
Former Bake Off host Sue will host Comic Relief’s Proud Every Day event in support of the LGBTQ community.
The exclusive panel show will be fronted by the legendary comedian and will feature the voices of much-loved LGBTQ comics who are making waves on the national circuit.
Comedian and Mock the Week regular Ed, who is also known his mega-hit podcast Off Menu with James Acaster, will be taking the stage during the Katherine Ryan and Friends fixture.
And Eurovision star and singer Sam will be joining TV and radio host Graham on The O2 arena’s illustrious stage.
A sure highlight of the glitzy comedy event’s schedule, Graham has invited some of the biggest stars of stand-up comedy, music and drag to put on a night of entertainment, laughter and surprises.
Alongside Sam, funnyman Joe Lycett, American drag queen, comedian, actor, costume designer and winner of the sixth series of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Bianca Del Rio, star of last year’s Strictly Come Dancing Jayde Adams and winner of the fourth series of Drag Race UK Danny Beard will all thrill audience members one line at a time.
Exciting names have been added to Max & Ivan’s The Wrestling with the ringside commentary left in the hands of Aisling Bea, Nish Kumar, and Greg James.
Making their wrestling debuts are Alex Horne, Ed The Gambler Gamble, Phil Wang and Glenn Moore aka Glenn Morgue – who will be managed by Joe Lycett and The Ringfluencer Abi Clarke.
The Wrestling’s creators Max & Ivan will be appearing in tag team action and Rosie Daddy Jones will be back to defend her championship belt.
On the night Olga Koch and Matthew The Pacifist Crosby will be keeping the audience up to date with all the action from the anticipated fixture.
Tickets for the festival go on sale on Friday January 20 at 10:00 am at www.jfllondon.com.
