A three-year-old boy has been discovered dead alongside the bodies of a man and a woman.
The man, aged in his forties, was found suffering from stab injuries after police forced their way into the property in Brentford, west London, just after midnight.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers then found the child and the woman, believed to be in her thirties.
Detectives say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident in Clayponds Lane.
It is thought all three people were known to each other, but police have not confirmed if they were a family at this stage.
A Met spokesperson said: ‘Inquiries are underway to inform all next of kin.
‘Post mortem examinations will be scheduled for all three people in due course.’
