A body has been found in the search for a missing man feared to have drowned in the Thames in Cookham, Berkshire.
Officers began the search on Tuesday night amid reports a man had got into trouble in an area of water called Lulle Brook, which is connected to the river.
The body of the man, aged in his 30s, was found shortly before 5pm on Wednesday, police said.
“Formal identification has not yet taken place. His next of kin are being supported,” the force said in statement.
The death is being treated as unexplained and is not suspicious, Thames Valley Police added.
