This is the moment a suspect ran away from court in the middle of a hearing.
A manhunt is now underway after Abu Faye, 26, fled on foot from Croydon Crown Court on Tuesday, March 17.
He ran away from the court just after 4pm during a hearing for drug offences on after learning that a judge wanted to remand him in custody.
Faye had been charged with five counts of possession with intent to supply and five counts of possession of Class A and Class B drugs.
He admitted possessing the drugs but absconded before entering a plea for the supply charges, the Met Police said.
The force have put out a public appeal 13 days later to try find the suspect, who has links to Penge and Cambridge.
They also warned not to approach him and instead call 999 immediately.
In a statement, a spokeswoman for The Met said: ‘Met detectives have been conducting urgent enquiries, including analysing CCTV, and are working at pace to locate him.
‘They are now appealing to the public for help in doing so.
‘If you see Faye or have any information that may assist police, please do not approach him but call 999 quoting CAD 4966/17MARCH.’
