A man in his 20s has died after being stabbed to death in a block of flats.
Police launched a murder probe after the man was found with stab injures at around 11.10am today inside a flat in Bramwell House, Southwark.
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Met Police said his next of kin are aware and there have been no arrests.
Formal identification is yet to take place.
Neil Coyle, the MP for Bermondsey and Old Southwark told the Metro: ‘It is awful news that another young man has lost his life to violent crime.
‘His family and friends will be devastated and will want answers and arrests as soon as possible. Please come forward if you have any information and help this family and local community rebuild their shattered lives.’
Pictures taken at the scene show a police cordon stretching in front of the block of flats in south London as a crime scene remains in place.
